Metals and Water

Water and Metals
On Thursday we tested some metals like lead, magnesium and other metals in cold and hot water. The metal that reacted the most was Zinc. All the metals didn't react in cold water but they all reacted in hot water.

Why did Zinc react the most?

Water Experiment

Water Experiment

When we boiled water we recorded how long it was and how hot the temperature was and then we made a prediction if we think it would go higher than 100 degrees. As we watched the water boil steam started coming out and then it started boiling and bubbling.
I Found out that it actually can boil up to more than 100 degrees. In my group our water temperature got higher than 100 degrees it reached up to 105 degrees in about 2:00 minutes
